Lot 1025 FULLY TRANSFERABLE MAN 08/15 MAXIM MACHINE GUN.

Cal. 8mm. S# 8654 (Lock). Bbl. 28 1/4". Standard 08/15 sights. Walther made lock assembly, backplate parts & rear of charging handle are all numbered "8654". Balance of other parts are numbered "877" with stock & sights appearing unnumbered. Top cover has M.A.N. NURENBERG markings with 1918 date. Blued finish. Bipod, 08/15 booster & drum hanger numbered "877" all present. Beech stock & checkered grip panels. MAGS: 1-100 rd. drum without belt. CONDITION: stock has added finish with some drying cracks & chipping at toe. Furniture otherwise shows a few abrasions, scattered dings, handling marks & checkering wear on pistol grip. Pistol grip assembly is loose. Balance of metal retains 50% original blue with overall fading heavier on jacket, a few dents, some pitting, scattered oxidation, edge wear & handling marks. Trigger does not cock when charging handle is operated, likely due to loose pistol grip assembly. Bore is dirty with frosting but has strong rifling.
